Pinpointing and conserving epicenters of imminent extinctions

MEMBERSHIP

Membership in the Alliance is open to any non-governmental environmental organization that has as a primary purpose the conservation of biological diversity. Membership is also open to relevant quasi-governmental IUCN commissions because of their roles as the international authorities on species and site conservation. Such organizations can become parties at any time by signing the MOU and sending it to the Alliance Secretary (see below). Upon receipt of the signed MOU, the Secretary shall notify the other parties to the MOU that a new organization has become a party. The Alliance will also develop an advisory group of experts who will act as consultants on particular sites and species. These individuals will be solicited by the parties to the Alliance and will be credited on the Alliance web site for their input.

If your organization is interested in joining, please contact Mike Parr, the Alliance Secretary at: mparrabcbirds.org
